Pikeville’s Pizza King brings high speed WiFi to customers.

Utilizing high speed wireless access points and Bledsoe Telephone’s new Fiber service, Pizza King is able to offer new service to customers.

McAfee Media Solutions finished work at Pikeville’s Pizza King restaurant last week, completing a total overhaul of the restaurant’s network. Partnered with Bledsoe Telephone Cooperative’s new fiber internet service, Pizza King can now offer customers a digital experience unique in the Sequatchie Valley.

“With the rewire, customers can now enjoy great pizza and fast WiFi,” said Justin McAfee, owner of McAfee Media Solutions. “Customers can game competitively with individuals around the world, complete online classes, or stream high quality video. No where else in the valley is offering this to their customers.”

McAfee Media Solutions, located in Dunlap, began planning the project in 2017 when approached by Robert Castenada, operator of both the Dunlap and Pikeville Pizza King restaurants, to provide his customers with a usable WiFi experience. “Mr. Castenada wanted fast, safe internet for his customers.  Coupled with great fiber and a solid Family Shield, we were able to give him that,” said Mr. McAfee.  Pikeville doesn’t offer many free WiFi spots and this is the first high speed wireless access point available in the county.

Upgrades to the Dunlap Pizza King are planned for the latter half of 2018, pending fiber availability from Bledsoe Telephone Cooperative. “Clients interested in updating their home or business internet can reach out to us via McAfeeMediaSolutions.com,” said Mr. McAfee.
